Using the chaos within nations as their ladder, the Durashan Federation began enticing leaders to subjugate themselves under their banner. Many nations, after seeing these people of legend, these demigods armed with strange new technology, immediately bent the knee. Some nations resisted, citing subjugation, but were immediately conquered by the Durashans.
As the civil wars were tamed and nations fell, a new paradigm overtook the once independent nations of Kuier. The people found themselves living under the guise of independence.
They were not able to fight such an overpowering force. Soon all Kuier’s former leaders were either part of the Durashan Federation, or dead. Opposition leaders were quietly removed and replaced with Durashan Federation sympathizers. Defeat had come without anyone knowing.
In reality, they were now subjects under the rule of the Durashan Federation DF led by the Grand Dura. The DF proved its might time and time again and used its advanced militaristic technology to extinguish any thoughts of rebellion or conflict. After taking control, they took steps to ensure their superiority over the subjugated nations.
Durashan RULE
Under the Durashan Federation’s rule, any trace of Aeris was completely wiped out and access to information related to their nano technology was purged completely from society as not to risk anyone else discovering the secrets behind the DF’s advanced military might. This information regarding the nano technology was locked away and as the centuries passed, the detailed knowledge of this advanced militaristic weaponry used by the Durashans to conquer Kuier was reserved for the highest ranking members within the Durashan Federation. Due to the purge the true history of the Durashan conquests were shrouded in mystery. Historians around Kuier taught of the mysterious power of the Durashan Federation which the DF used as propaganda to expand their psychological hold over the nations and people around Kuier.
However, one thing is clear – the Durashan are the only people to have interfaced with the Durasha. They are the closest link to the Aeris as possible. Only manipulation at the genetic level could change that, a fact that gives the Durashan not only the power to wield the Durasha, but the comfort in knowing that no one without Durashan blood would ever challenge them for the leadership of the Federation.
